Genuine Hoover Turbine & Gear Assembly for 5 Brush Dual V Steam Vacs

Part #  43191009 (replaced by identical part # 440007405)

This is the part that makes the brushes on the brush block spin.

Note: The turbine has been revised by Hoover, and no longer has the soft plastic cap over the left port.  If your old turbine has the cap, then you will just need to transfer it onto the new one.

Fits ALL Dual V, and V2 Steam Vacs with 5 Brushes on the Brush Block.

Fits all model numbers beginning with F72__-___

The best way to discover whether this part needs to be replaced is to remove the brush block and insert a flat head screw driver into the small square hole that accepts the green drive pin from the brush block.  Attempt to twist the screwdriver.  If it will not spin, then the turbine gear is bad.
